Porphinfarbstoffe,

 

wichtige Naturfarbstoffe, die das Ringsystem des Porphins enthalten. Metallfreie Porphinfarbstoffe werden als Porphyrine bezeichnet. Porphinfarbstoffe mit eingelagerten Metallatomen sind z. B. der Blutfarbstoff Häm und der Blattfarbstoff Chlorophyll.
